Nevin E. Kopp
University of California, Riverside. M.S Robotics, B.S Electrical Engineering
Hello!
My name is Nevin Kopp and I am an embedded software engineer at science applications international corporation (SAIC). I went to University of California, Riverside where I got my B.S. in electrical engineering and my M.S. in robotics. During my time at the university, I worked a lot with underwater robotics. As part of the robosub team, I helped both the hardware and software teams develop and test Leviathan, our entry into the competition. I also did a research project implementation to help improve underwater object tracking under the guidance of professor Amit K Roy-Chowdhury. I’m currently open to roles involved with robotics and embedded systems especially in the maritime domain. My experience at SAIC with writing mission critical software and my extensive academic background sets me up to do very well as a robotics engineer. Please refer to my resume section for my tech stack, thanks for reading!
